Shortly after Sara earned her associate’s in nursing degree from MATC in 2003, she began working in the ICU of Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Sara used that experience and working for the Organ Sharing Network at St. Luke’s Medical Center, as stepping stones to attain her current position as an organ donation coordinator and designated requestor for the WDN since July 2006. She feels rewarded to be with the WDN and to help families decide what is best for them. Sara received her CPTC recognition from the American Board for Transplant Certification in February, 2007.
