Lynn has a personal connection to the WDN, as her son, Brian, was a donor in 2003. Since that time she has been actively involved in various areas of volunteering: editor of the donor family newsletter, awareness booths, mailings, donor memorial committee, donor quilts and starting Threads of Compassion. In late January 2007 Lynn joined the WDN staff, using her personal experience with donation to compassionately serve the donor families, work with WDN volunteers and help promote organ donation awareness.
